Of Introductions

This scene starts in a war torn world many millennia ago, a land where I, the greatest force of timeless evil, led a demon army against all of humanity.

Mankind was pushed to the corners of the Earth by my onslaught, even having joined their armies together as one in a rare show of global cooperation.

But then, when it seemed that man would finally fall and lose the world that had been its birthright, the mightiest of heroes gathered from across what was left of the land and fought together in one desperate effort to push my tide of death back.

At the costs of their lives they prevailed, and sent me back to the darkness, the vile being that had nearly spelled the end for all.

As my once-proud armies scattered to the winds, my most trusted lieutenants, the Council of Five, fled to the edges of the universe in despair that I, their master, had fallen.

All seemed to be right with the world from the human perspective.



But evil never slumbers for long.



From the deepest shadows I gather my darkness again, calling my minions from across the cosmos to serve at my side once more.

With a will darker than the blackest midnight I have created my own lands and now bid my servants to seek you out, all the most powerful inhabitants of your world.

I now “invite” you to a tournament unlike any other.

A tournament which those with power cannot resist.

A tournament which will make even the steadiest minds waver.
